Clayton R. Hume

Prior to starting Hume Law in 2006, Mr. Hume practiced as a corporate attorney in a regional law firm. 

Mr. Hume has extensive transactional experience representing closely-held businesses and their owners from organization to maturity in various matters, including general corporate and securities, merger and acquisition, real estate, tax planning, financing, commercial contracts, entity planning and restructuring, succession planning, estate planning, and estate administration. As a former certified public accountant, Mr. Hume’s substantial tax experience enhances his corporate legal practice.

Mr. Hume enjoys serving various community and ministry organizations.  When not spending time with his family, he enjoys running, fly fishing, and college athletics.
